Simon Horgan FRCS FRCOphth is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital, St George’s Hospital, Tooting, and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.
He qualified from London University in 1986 and received his ophthalmology training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Mr Horgan specialises in retinal conditions, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, use of multifocal implant lenses, astigmatic corrections and general ophthalmology.
He is one of the leading ophthalmic experts in the South East for treatments in macular degeneration, including Lucentis and Avastin therapies. He is the lead clinician at the Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital and has particular research interest in retinal disease.
Mr Horgan consults privately at The London Eye Diagnostic Centre, Harley Street London, The New Victoria Hospital, Kingston and operates at The New Victoria Hospital and Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon.

Mr. Kafil-Hussain had a broad-based training in centres of excellence in Ophthalmology, including Oxford, London and Dublin since 1990. After receiving his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training from the Royal College of Ophthalmologist, he was appointed as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital, Surrey and West Middlesex University Hospital, London.
He has written clinical articles in numerous respected Ophthalmology journals and presented at some of the world's most prestigious conferences in UK, USA, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain. He has extensive experience in all aspects of ophthalmic surgery including cataract surgery, intraocular lens implantation, children eye diseases, squint and refractive surgery.
