Please note in particular the following terms and conditions which apply to the prices above:

  • Patients who stay overnight for a procedure classified as a daycase procedure will be charged an additional £275.
  • Inpatient lengths of stay above are for guidance only. No additional charges will be made where a patient's consultant requires them to stay longer than expected; and no refunds will be given if a patient is discharged earlier than expected (unless this has been agreed by the hospital prior to admission).
  • The hospital reserves the right to amend or refuse treatment at the prices above if a patient's general medical condition could result in unforeseen complications.
  • Patients who choose to stay longer than is required for medical reasons will be charged for those additional days' stay.
  • The prices cover the period from a patient's admission to their discharge and specifically exclude any pre-admission or post-discharge services and fees.
  • The prices are based on a single specified procedure being performed: additional charges will be raised where more than 1 procedure is performed (except where the price above is for a "multiple" procedure).
  • The prices specifically exclude MRI and CT scans which will be charged in addition .
  • They also exclude hotel charges (such as telephone calls, alcoholic drinks, and meals for visitors), transport to and from the hospital, and post-discharge drugs and dressings and other medical supplies and equipment (including crutches). 48 hours of "take-home" drugs and medication are included in the prices.
  • Patients are required to pay in full for Fixed Price Surgery prior to their admission and the hospital reserves the right not to admit a patient who has not paid.
