IMAGING TECHNICIAN / HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT (PART TIME)

We are looking for a part-time Imaging Technician / Health Care Assistant to work in our Imaging team..

Permanent Part-Time

Hours

27 hours per week

Requirements

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both patients and staff.

You will assist radiographers and radiologists when required.

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Basic nursing tasks
  • Minimum 1 year hospital environment or similar
  • You must be able to interact effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

BANK STAFF NURSE (Band 5)

We are looking for experienced Staff Nurses to join our Bank to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing a variety of surgeries on an ad hoc basis.

You will be joining a friendly nursing team within a professional caring environment led by an experienced Head of Nursing.

The service consists predominantly of elective multi-speciality surgical care. The successful applicant will have a flexible approach and be available for regular duties possibly 2 – 3 shifts per week.

DEPUTY THEATRE MANAGER 

The Deputy Theatre Manager is responsible for the co-ordination of the day to day management of staff and resources within the Operating Department and Endoscopy Suite.

BANK PHARMACIST 

We are looking for Pharmacists to join our team of Bank staff.  This opportunity will not offer a regular work pattern.  We wish to add to our team of bank pharmacists who will be able to provide cover for staff holiday / sickness etc.   

To provide professional and clinical supervision of the dispensary and the dispensing process, participate in the work of the dispensary as part of the pharmacy rota. To ensure a high level of personal, clinical and professional pharmacy practice at all times. To ensure patients and staff receive polite assistance in a timely manner, liaising efficiently with medical and other hospital staff. To maintain registration with the RPSGB and GPC.

  • To have knowledge of computer skills especially Pharmacy Manager computer system.
  • To participate in the clinical pharmacy service, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and to undertake relevant training and assessment.
  • To assess, clinically verify and quality-assure patients prescription charts for legality, accuracy, safety, and appropriateness of drug therapy, possible drug interactions and adverse reactions. This involves utilising information in the patient’s case notes, nursing care plans, prescription chart and the computerised results reporting system (Meditech) and endorsing prescriptions when necessary
