Skin conditions can range from complex medical conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, through to a range of more common complaints including warts and skin tags. The Hospital provides outpatient dermatology consultations with a Consultant Dermatologist and immediate access to a purpose-built Minor Treatment Room for 'one-stop' services where clinically appropriate.

Birthmarks

Cosmetic treatments are available to help to reduce the appearance of birthmarks and scarring.

Freckles and Moles

Freckles and moles are generally harmless. If a mark on your skin is uneven, or if it has darkened or significantly increased in size, this could indicate a risk of skin cancer. To have a mole checked, diagnosed and, if appropriate, surgically removed, please contact us.

Acne

Acne is one of the most common skin conditions. Spots can develop on the face, back and chest, or on any other part of the skin. Acne frequently appears during teenage years but can also continue into adulthood. We treat the causes of acne and scarring caused by more severe breakouts.

Eczema, Urticaria (hives) and Contact Dermatitis

Treatments for all of these complex and often long-standing dermatology conditions are available at the Hospital.

Sensitive Skin

Expert consultants will help you to understand and control the symptoms and triggers that affect your sensitive skin, such as rosacea, rashes and itchy skin.
