ENT Surgery: When may you need it?

ENT surgery becomes necessary when medication and non-medical intervention has no impact on the symptoms being experienced by the patient. As many ENT conditions are directly connected to the senses, a change in or loss of one of these senses is one of the earliest and most indicative signs that something is wrong.

At New Victoria Hospital, our team of nationally-acclaimed ENT specialists are experts in identifying both common and complex conditions linked to the ear, nose and throat. Each boasting their own specialist area of expertise; once they have isolated the root cause of the problem our ENT Consultants will then decide the best course of treatment. This may involve surgery or long term medication or a combination of the two.
