PHARMACIST

We are recruiting for a Pharmacist to join the team at New Victoria Hospital. The successful candidate will participate in the professional and clinical supervision of the pharmacy service whilst working in the pharmacy. They will ensure a high level of personal, clinical and professional pharmacy practice at all times; working within the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Standards. They will participate in the promotion of medicines safety and optimisation and liaise effectively with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary clinical team.

Summary of the role:

  • To participate and undertake training and development to ensure a robust and effective clinical pharmacy service is offered to patients and staff.
  • Be responsible for providing medicines safety and optimisation to patients, carers and the clinical multidisciplinary team.
  • To provide professional and clinical supervision of the dispensary and the dispensing process which will involve the clinical verification and quality assurance of prescriptions and their final checking but may include any aspect of the dispensing process.

    Requirements the successful candidate will offer:

    • BSc or MPharm in Pharmacy
    • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
    • Membership of Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain is desirable but not essential
    • Evidence of continuing professional development
    • Experience of working within a hospital pharmacy environment
    • Proven ability to work as part of a team
    • Good communication skills
    • Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and tasks
    • Strong written, numeracy and abstract reasoning.

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST 

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Band 6 MSK physiotherapist for 18 hours/week. The role is split between outpatients and inpatients which is mostly orthopaedic. It will include 1-2 evening shifts to 8pm. You will be working within a team of physiotherapist. The candidate will be expected to work independently without direct supervision and will need to be self-sufficient.

Requirements

  • HCPC and CSP registered
  • Previous MSK outpatient experience
  • A wide variety of knowledge on MSK conditions
  • Good time management and communication skills
