CHEF DE PARTIE   

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our Catering team. This role covers a multiple range of activities including, but not limited to, ensuring that the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of nutritious and appetising food for patients and staff is carried out effectively to high standards. 

Requirements for the role include: 

  • To have or be working towards Levels 2 & 3 (supervisory / management) NVQ in Catering or equivalent 
  • Have a clear understanding of Food Hygiene and hold a Level 2 hygiene certificate and City & Guilds 706-1/2 in professional cooking 
  • Have a clear understanding of HACCP 
  • Be able to produce high quality food cooking from first principles 
  • You will be friendly and approachable have a passion for providing customer service excellence

KITCHEN ASSISTANT

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Catering team. The main function of the role is to provide exceptional catering services to patients, visitors and staff.  

Requirements for the role include: 

  • Knowledge of Customer Care
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous restaurant or canteen experience is desirable
  • NVQ or equivalent in Catering also desirable

PATIENT SERVICES ADVISORS   

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible people to work as part of the busy Patient Services Ddepartment. You must be computer literate and enjoy being in a front-line customer facing position in a busy department, providing the highest levels of customer care and service to our patients.. Full training will be given after which you will be expected to work using your own initiative. 

We have part-time vacancies available, for up to 30 hours/week 5 x 6 hour shifts . The opening hours of the department are between 06:30 - 20:00 Monday - Friday (Saturday shift cover will be until 18:00), therefore your shift may commence at 06:30 or finish at 20:00. There is a requirement for one of the shifts to be worked in turn with Sunday rotation.

HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT (Fixed-Term Contract)   

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our busy Housekeeping Team on a fixed term contract.

The most suitable candidate will:

  • work as part of a multi-disciplinary team - showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients
  • ensure that a high quality service is delivered to patients
  • ensure high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hospital in accordance with Infection Control Standards
