PANTRY ASSISTANTS (BANK) 

We are expanding our team of bank staff and are currently recruiting for the role of Pantry Assistant.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible people to support the busy hospitality team. The successful applicants will deliver the highest standards possible, be able to work in a busy pantry and work with, and support, the team.  The role will require weekend working.

Duties 

The duties of a Pantry Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • serve and distribute meals and beverages to patients
  • prepare the pantry ensuring adequate supplies are available
  • ensuring all pantry areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, taking into account the Food Safety Regulations.

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/TRAINER   

New Victoria Hospital requires a Senior Software Developer/Software Trainer. The successful candidate will be required to train end users on new applications and existing Meditech applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing a training schedule and ensuring all hospital staff are fully trained on relevant Meditech applications. The candidate will take responsibility for junior trainers on a day to day basis.

Software development projects will include: 

  • Interface development between Meditech clinical and financial applications and SQL.
  • Use SQL and Sisense to develop business intelligence tools to be used throughout the hospital.
  • Use modern web technology to develop a patient portal using HL7 to interface to Meditech.
  • MReport design and development on Meditech using NPR.

Requirements for the role: 

  • Min 5 Meditech $T and NPR programming experience.
  • Min 5 years in depth experience in Meditech clinical and financial applications.
  • Sisense development experience.
  • Extensive SQL experience.
  • Microsoft .NET experience.
  • Experience in formal software development methodologies.
  • Formal software development qualification such as MCSD.
  • Experience in user training.
  • Experience in team leadership.

37.5 hours per week

HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT   

New Victoria Hospital are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team..

Requirements for the role: 

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team - showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients.
  • Ensure that a high quality service is delivered to patients.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hospital in accordance with Infection Control Standards.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all members of the Housekeeping Department, working positively to develop a cohesive team.
  • Offer a 'Can do' attitude.
