THEATRE PORTER   

We are looking to recruit a Theatre Porter. The role requires the successful candidate to provide a general portering service to the Theatre Department.

You will promote a courteous working relationship with all hospital staff and patients.

Previous experience is an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.

We would like to hear from you if you are customer focused, polite, flexible and reliable.

A clean driving licence is essential and an enhanced DBS check will be carried out.

PATIENT SERVICES ADVISOR   

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible person to work as part of the busy Patient Services department. You must be computer literate and enjoy being in a front-line position in a busy department. Full training will be given after which you will be expected to work using your own initiative.

We have a part-time vacancy available, 32 hours/week 4 x 6 hour shifts and 1 x 8 hour shift). The opening hours of the department are between 07:30 - 20:15 Monday - Saturday, therefore your shift may commence at 07:30 or finish at 20:15. There is a requirement for one of the shifts to be worked in turn with Saturday rotation.

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT   

The hospital is currently looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant whose primary role will be:

  • Carpentry
  • General hospital maintenance
  • Painting and Decorating
  • Assisting Engineers

The candidate we are looking for would ideally have:

  • Minimum of 5 years in building maintenance
  • A comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and IT skills
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Have strong team working skills but also the ability to work on own initiative
  • Be flexible and responsible

BANK CHEF   

We are looking for a chef to join our bank. This role covers a multiple range of activities including, but not limited to, ensuring that the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of nutritious and appetising food for patients and staff is carried out effectively to high standards. 

Requirements for the role include: 

  • To have or be working towards Levels 2 & 3 (supervisory / management) NVQ in Catering or equivalent 
  • Have a clear understanding of Food Hygiene and hold an Intermediate hygiene certificate and City & Guilds 706-1/2 in professional cooking 
  • Have a clear understanding of HACCP 
  • Be able to produce high quality food cooking from first principles
