Graham Ball, Founder and CEO of The Victoria Foundation and CEO of New Victoria Hospital, along with twelve supporters of the charity, took part in this once in a lifetime five-day trekking and cycling challenge in Brazil. They raised over an incredible £35,000 which will help to transform many more lives.

Graham Ball was in the trekking team where he walked for up to six hours a day in stunning scenery and at night slept in hostels. Lorna Votier, Development Manager for The Victoria Foundation led the cycling team along a route with the Atlantic Green Rain Forest on one side and the Atlantic Ocean to the other.  The challenge finished at the famous carnival city of Rio de Janeiro where the trekkers and cyclists met up to celebrate their fantastic achievement.

Graham Ball said, "This is one of the toughest challenges yet but our supporters have trained hard to ensure they can complete it! I cannot thank them enough for taking part - for covering the cost of the challenge, and for the funds they have raised which will help to transform so many lives. I also want to take this opportunity thank all those who have so generously sponsored us."
