The patient portal provides secure access to your health information online at any time. The information in the Patient Portal comes from your New Victoria Hospital Electronic Medical Record (EMR). This ensures that you have access to the most accurate, up-to-date information possible.

With New Victoria Hospital’s Patient Portal you can access your health information online 24/7 from your mobile or computer.

What can I see and do in the Patient Portal?

The patient portal will allow you to be in control of your health, with faster registration processes, and all information, appointments and results all in one place.

  • Pre-register for appointments for faster registration on the day
  • Complete required pre-operative health questionnaires
  • Update information and share access with family members

You will be able to view:

  • Upcoming appointments
  • Post-appointment follow-up care instructions and leaflets
  • Visit history

  • Outstanding bills

How do I access my Patient Portal?

When you book a Hospital visit, you will receive an email inviting you to create a portal account.

Whenever there are any updates to your portal account, you will receive a notification by email.

Is my information safe?

Yes. There is two-factor authentication and portal passwords are encrypted and URLs are re-written so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your portal. Also, a timeout feature protects your information if you leave the portal page open.

How to create a new Patient Portal Account

Please follow the instructions below to create your Portal Account:

  1. Click the link at the bottom of the page.
  2. Click "Continue".
  3. An activation code is sent to your email.
  4. Copy and paste the code in the “Verification Code” field and click “Submit”.
  5. Enter your preferred username and password and click “Submit”.

Once your account is created you will receive emails notifying you of any updates for new activity on your Patient Portal account, such as appointments, pre-op health questionnaires and results. Results: To discuss any results, please contact your referrer.

Results will only be filed to the Patient Portal, as a historical record, after 14 days. This delay is to ensure sufficient time has been allowed for your referrer to review and discuss results with patients.

Do not try to re-use the same link you used to create your account.
