Hospital Compliance
In October 2014, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published the Private Healthcare Market Investigation Order 2014. This requires private hospitals to publish certain information about their referring clinicians. We take compliance with the order seriously, and the required information is included below.

Low Value Services
We provide Consultants with a range of services to ensure patient safety and clinical quality. These include access to a safe clinical environment, IT systems, Hospital policies & procedures (including Practice Privileges), mandatory training modules (eg safeguarding, resuscitation), and a multidisciplinary team setup for all clinical areas. All equipment for Consultants’ use is regularly maintained.
We also ensure the support of our Medical Advisory Board and Clinical Leads, and monitor the professional and clinical documentation to ensure this is in place via dedicated admin support. The Scope of Practice of all our clinicians and allied healthcare professionals (AHPs) working under PPs is monitored and we offer a robust governance process with all incidents captured via the Datix system.
Consultants benefit from the support of our dedicated Relationship Manager and Marketing team, who promote Consultants with the GP audience across south west London and Surrey, and support them in the development of their clinic activity at New Victoria Hospital, from induction to ongoing communication and marketing opportunities such as involvement and exposure through social media content, PR and events.

Corporate Hospitality Events
In 2025, New Victoria Hospital hosted various meetings and events with consultants and AHPs from different specialities to introduce them to hospital teams and other healthcare professionals.
We also host an education programme throughout the year to provide local GPs and AHPs with continuing professional development (CPD)- accredited seminars, where Consultants from different specialities present case studies and clinical guidelines and are introduced to local primary care colleagues.
The aim of the Education Programme is to enhance patient care and the clinical practice of GPs and AHPs.
We also provided corporate hospitality at no cost to referring clinicians, including social events like Christmas parties and educational events such as service line demonstrations and symposia. These events were reasonable, proportionate, and not intended to influence referrals or reward clinicians for referrals.
To ensure transparency, we have disclosed below the frequency and cost of these events. Costs typically include food, drinks (paid to external vendors), and venue hire. Where applicable (e.g., dinners), costs are presented per attendee; otherwise, the number of invited attendees is provided for events with a fixed total cost.
