Bupa Health Services is pleased to announce the acquisition of King Edward VII’s Hospital, a renowned independent hospital located in London’s prestigious Harley Street health district. This marks Bupa’s second hospital acquisition this year, following the addition of New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames earlier in 2025. The acquisition is anticipated to complete by the end of this year.
King Edward VII’s Hospital has a long-standing reputation for clinical excellence, offering specialist expertise in musculoskeletal (MSK) care, women’s health, urology, and digestive health. The hospital’s facilities include 56 beds (with 16 dedicated day case beds), three operating theatres, and a state-of-the-art outpatient and diagnostic clinic, which opened in 2022, providing comprehensive outpatient, diagnostic, day case, and inpatient services.
The acquisition will further strengthen Bupa’s clinical network across London, expanding access to high-quality healthcare for patients throughout the City and the Home Counties. Establishing a presence in Harley Street, one of the world’s most prestigious health districts, will also enhance Bupa’s ability to serve patients who value access to a global centre of medical excellence.
