New Victoria Hospital Breast Clinic

We are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our One-Stop Breast Clinics from Monday 8th August with dedicated consultation rooms, additional equipment and cutting-edge technology. With many women left with delayed access to breast health services during the past couple of years, patients are now able to book an appointment daily for rapid access to results and specialist care.

New Victoria Hospital One stop Breast Clinic Pathway

Our Breast Clinic pathway detects early breast cancer signs and gives patients peace of mind with same-day imaging diagnostic examinations and a dedicated Consultant of their choice.

During the appointment, your Consultant will discuss an individualised treatment and care plan, tailored to your needs.

Your triple assessment method includes:

  • Dedicated Consultation with your Breast Surgeon
  • Mammogram, Ultrasound or both on the same day of your appointment
  • Tissue diagnosis with fine needle biopsy, if needed

With our One Stop Breast Clinic, you will have fast access to examination results and management plan.

Magseed and Magtrace technology

We are delighted to introduce Magseed and Magtrace diagnostic technology to our local patients. Two cutting-edge diagnostic tools that are considered the gold standard of breast cancer detection.

Magseed is a minimally invasive procedure whereby your cancer can be accurately located during surgery.

Magseed is a new device that accurately detects the area of early stage breast cancer with a pain-free procedure.

The seed will be placed in the breast using either Ultrasound, Stereotactic, Tomographic or Mammographic imaging.

Your surgeon will place the seed within your breast tissue up to seven days before your procedure, taking only a few minutes to implant.

The Magseed is made of surgical grade stainless steel and will be used by your surgeon to locate the breast lesion using its magnetic trace.
