Practical Help For Those in Need

The Foundation is making a difference in the local and wider community

Our focus is on providing medical equipment and assistance where the Foundation’s trustees identify potential gaps in the provision by The State. This focus ensures that the charity can help transform the lives of those in most need.

Funding medical equipment and support for those who really need it

Examples include:

  • Mobility aids - giving disabled children and young people greater independence and confidence to help them to reach their potential.
  • Accessible transport vehicles - keeping the elderly connected and preventing loneliness and isolation.

Supporting the NHS Doctors of the future

We support widening participation in medicine by awarding grants to medical students from lower socio-economic backgrounds during their studies to help cover the cost of textbooks, study materials, medical equipment, and travel to hospital placements.

Thank you for funding Courtney's specialist buggy. She's really enjoyed being able to go out on dog walks with the family. It has really improved her quality of life.
