Teddington Rugby

New Victoria Hospital is delighted to announce the sponsorship in support of the Minis section of Teddington Rugby FC over the next three years.

This opportunity contributes to providing the necessary equipment, kit and training to children, as well as a season of regular festival fixtures and friendlies around Middlesex, London and Surrey.

Teddington Rugby FC’s Minis

Royal Bushy Park-based Teddington RFC has developed an engaging project to introduce young children between the ages of 5 and 11 to rugby with gender-inclusive teams and a family-friendly environment.

The club is made up of about 2000 members and is run entirely by volunteers who inspire young players to be passionate about the game, learn new skills and stay active.

Participation in rugby union has decreased during the pandemic, and we hope this partnership can contribute to making this fun sport more popular, especially among children.

David Marshall, CEO of New Victoria Hospital, added: "Over the next three years, New Victoria Hospital's sponsorship of the Teddington RFC Minis will help the club to develop its young players, and I am delighted that we are supporting their work. With lifelong health and vitality at the heart of what we do in our neighbouring Kingston-Upon-Thames Hospital, we are proud to be funding important volunteer-led wellbeing programmes in the local community."

The sponsorship will also allow Teddington Rugby Club members to benefit from our healthcare services with a number of dedicated offers throughout the years.
