Biography
Dr Kate Panter is a Consultant Gynaecologist at New Victoria Hospital. She is a graduate in Medicine (1984) from the University of Cambridge and trained at St Thomas’s, qualifying as a doctor at the University of London (1987).
She was a fellow at the University of Toronto (1993-1996) where she completed research for which she was awarded a Medical Doctorate by the University of London (2000).
Kate’s primary NHS consultant role was at Kingston NHS Trust (2001-2009).
She is a member (1993) and a fellow (2008) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Kate has an Honorary Contract at Guys and St Thomas’s where she works in a specialist menopause clinic. She is certified as a Menopause Expert by the British Menopause Society (2017).
Kate was an accredited gynaecologist to the 2012 London Olympics and works as a specialist advisor to the English Institute of Sport.
Personal profile:
Kate is married with 3 grown-up children. She rowed in the Boat race for Cambridge & The GB team, culminating in 1984 Olympics. She enjoys keeping fit and has taken up cycling. She also enjoys Yoga. Kate is a regular theatre-goer & supports several London theatres and art galleries.
