The Annual Rotary Charity Golf Day, sponsored by New Victoria Hospital took place at The Malden Golf Club on Wednesday 24th May. 76 golfers, made up 19 - 4 ball teams which teed off from the first and tenth tees at midday in glorious sunny weather, in fact, the best day of the year to date. The teams were playing for the Charles Hutton Memorial Cup, sponsored by the Hospital. The winning team was captained by Tim Woodcock, President of the Rotary Club of New Malden.

New Victoria Hospital's team was captained by Chief Executive, Graham Ball, and put up a good fight to come in the top half of the results list, a job well done by part time golfers(!).

In the evening the players dined and were entertained by Adger Brown, past captain of the Comedian’s Golf Society and a top auctioneer. Over £5,500 was raised overall for the three charities being supported this year - Kingston Hospital Dementia Appeal, 21 & Co, the Downs Syndrome Charity and The Stroke Rehabilitation unit of Tolworth Hospital.
