X-rays are used to show the structures of bones and certain body tissues. They are used to detect fractures, infection and deterioration of the joints in certain diseases.

A minimum amount of radiation is used during x-ray examinations and every effort is made to keep this as limited as possible.

X-ray referrals are accepted from GP’s, Physiotherapists and some other health care professionals.
