Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To assist consultants in theatre as a Surgical First Assistant, working across a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopaedics
- To deliver safe, high‑quality perioperative care in accordance with New Victoria Hospital policies and relevant clinical guidelines
- To maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards
- To contribute to a safe, efficient theatre environment and support theatre colleagues as part of a cohesive team
- To demonstrate excellent communication, organisational ability and a commitment to best patient outcomes
