Here at New Victoria Hospital, we are looking for a Cardiac Administrator who will be responsible for providing an effective and professional all-encompassing administration service for the Cardiac Investigations department. Services range from the patient booking service to patient billing, issuing reports, and working closely with consultants, secretaries and other departments a like to provide and excellent standard of cardiac administration services. This service is provided in person, via telephone and electronic communication methods.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic, positive, highly motivated and able to work under pressure. All candidates must be flexible to work a variety of shifts to accommodate the opening hours of the Imaging Department.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Good level of secondary education.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • IT literacy skills
  • Intermediate Excel (desirable)
  • Meditech or equivalent (desirable)

Experience:

  • Administrative skills and competences in a hospital or GP surgery

Skills and aptitude:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Literate and numerate
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Good interpersonal skills, for effective working relationships throughout the Hospital
  • Accuracy
