We are looking for a Staff Nurse that is trained in both Adults and Paediatrics, to provide nursing care to adults, children and your people admitted to our Ward.
This is a dual role that will include providing specialist nursing support to children attending the outpatient and inpatient services, as well as, supervising and participating in nursing procedures and treatments to the highest standards according to current accepted practice.
Some of the duties associated with this post are:
- To act as the child’s advocate in all decision making.
- To observe the clinical policies, procedures and standards within the ward/hospital.
- To observe and report on the condition of patients to the Nurse in Charge and medical staff, to receive and carry out instructions/assist as required.
- To participate in the production and implementation of programmes for evaluating nursing policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards according to current practice.
- To participate in the admission, transfer and discharge of patients, arranging relevant services and documentation.
