Requirements
Knowledge:
- Excellent understanding of surgical practice
- Good working knowledge of all disciplines of Theatres
- Good understanding of and ability to lead Risk management in Theatres
Experience:
- 5 years post registration
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Scrubs at senior level
- Experience of working in plastics speciality, including microvascular free flap surgery
- Proven experience of successful team management / change management
- Good knowledge of budgeting / financial management
- Excellent understanding of HR policies
Qualifications:
- RGN or ODP Qualification
- Recognised post registration course relevant to Theatres
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing / Healthcare
- Teaching and assessing qualification
- A recognised post registration course relevant to Theatres
