Mr Abbad Toma FRCS (ORL) is a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) and Facial Plastic Surgeon at New Victoria Hospital. He has clinical interests in rhinology, all nose and sinus diseases, endoscopic sinus surgery, rhinoplasty, pinnaplasty, general adult and paediatrics ENT. He has a particular special interest in new innovations in the field of endoscopic surgery.
He gained specialist training in Rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, USA and Switzerland and after training with eminent facial plastic surgeons in the UK, he gained further experience in facial plastic surgery in Switzerland and France as a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. In 1999 he received full accreditation from the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and was awarded his Certificate of completed Surgical Training.
Mr Toma is Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Kingston Hospital and Lead Clinician for Rhinology and Facial Plastic surgery.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is also Consultant ENT Surgeon to St George’s and Moorfield’s Eye Hospitals. Mr Toma is Senior Lecturer and Educational Supervisor at St George’s University of London Medical School, Programme Director of the Rhinology Fellowship in Southwest London and Co-Director of the London Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course.
