International Nurses Day at New Victoria Hospital

We celebrated International Nurses Day last week and took some time to talk with some of our longest serving nurses about their role, how nursing has changed over the last 30 years, as well as the challenges and rewarding aspects of their work.

After careful consideration, the Executive Management Team at New Victoria Hospital has taken the decision to cease offering Ophthalmology services to patients, effective 1 August 2022. 

Following a thorough evaluation of our operational structure, the Hospital has opted to prioritise increasing patient needs for different functional and rehabilitative surgery, including Orthopaedics, Oncoplastic Breast procedures, Gastroenterology, Urology and Gynaecology treatments.

The Hospital will be operating as usual until 3pm on the 24th December. We will then be closed until 6.30am on the 4th January 2022. Some services will be available between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
