Diagnosing and treating the causes of heavy and painful periods

As part of our Women’s Health campaign, with our experienced and trusted Gynaecology Consultant Miss Silvia Carta and an award-winning fibroids advocate Dawn Heels, we explored the topic of infertility, heavy and painful periods, and the available diagnostics to establish their cause, which, in many cases, is uterine fibroids, and hysteroscopic tissue removal or hysteroscopic morcellation as a potential treatment option.

Traffic update: Roadworks in May & June 2024

Roadworks will commence on Coombe Lane West, outside the Hospital, on Monday, 20 May. They are likely to last for three weeks, ending on Friday, 7 June.

Although the full impact remains unclear, we are aware that temporary traffic lights will be in place.

To mark March as Endometriosis Awareness Month, we delved deep into the world of endometriosis, a condition affecting millions worldwide, yet often misunderstood and underdiagnosed. New Victoria Hospital times over the Christmas Holidays

With the Christmas season upon us, we would like to inform our patients that some of the Hospital’s administrative services will be available between Christmas and New Year, and we will be open until 12pm on the 23rd of December, 2023.

The Hospital will then be closed until the 2nd of January, 2024, when we will reopen as usual at 6:30am.
