Gil Railton has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital since 1990, having qualified in 1977 from the Welsh National School of Medicine and completed orthopaedic training at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.
He is experience in joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee. He performs almost 200 primary hip and knee replacements a year, as well as a substantial number of arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions, meniscal repairs and resections.
He has several publications on joint replacement surgery and trauma management.
